Selling over the phone is Hard. By Erick Davis of Eagle Visioneers Group Selling over the phone is getting harder to do each year. This technique often works better with business prospects than with consumers. Selling over the phone is VERY different than sitting across the kitchen table. I was very successful at Yellow Page Advertising over the phone to set appointments than I was at actually selling over the phone. so I had the resources to figure this stuff out. Setting appointments over the phone is 3 to 4X more time-efficient, because you can contact many more people within the same allotted prime-time-frame. More contacts, more appointments, more sales.
